An in-home medical visit is a full clinical encounter conducted by a licensed provider in the patient's home. At Calora Health, visits include health assessments, medication review, symptom management, diagnostic orders, and care plan documentation — the same scope delivered in an outpatient clinical setting.
Yes. Calora Health bills Medicare for covered services. Patients are responsible for applicable copayments and deductibles under their Medicare plan. Contact us prior to scheduling to confirm coverage specific to your plan.
We primarily bill Medicare. Patients with private insurance or requiring self-pay arrangements are encouraged to contact our office to discuss available options. Transparent pricing is provided prior to scheduling.
No. Calora Health operates as a complement to, not a replacement for, your existing primary care provider. Our providers coordinate directly with your care team, share visit documentation, and align decisions with your established treatment plan.
Calora Health's behavioral health service line addresses depression and anxiety management, psychiatric medication management and monitoring, and dementia-related behavioral care. Our licensed behavioral health providers conduct thorough clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for each patient.
Palliative care is symptom-focused support appropriate at any stage of serious illness — it is not limited to end-of-life situations and can be delivered concurrently with curative treatment. Hospice is a specific program for patients who have elected to forgo curative treatment within a terminal prognosis. Calora Health provides palliative care support; we do not provide hospice services.

Yes. With patient consent, caregivers and family members are encouraged to participate in visits and care discussions. We support a family-centered care model across all service lines.
No. Calora Health provides planned, non-emergent in-home medical visits. Patients experiencing a medical emergency should call 911 or proceed to the nearest emergency department immediately.
